If I remember well, the assistant professor told me to move my painting somewhere, not to bother my peers. Ironically, the only place left was one next to the trash can. I had to do it, as you would.

Still life, set up by our professor.

Tempera on a primed paper.

The paper is stretched over a frame and held in place by a mix of water and flour we applied to the places the frame touched with the paper. Letting the paper to dry and straighten. Dimensions: 90 x 120 cm.

You'd be surprised at how fun still life painting in the atelier was, we'd be less constricted by a time frame and more focused on fooling around. Some of our greatest jokes were about the bad taste of our professor at the time. Baroque was his muse, and we were too broke for failing his class.
